Hey Good People, How lucky are we to find little gems from our childhood available via the Internet? We are very lucky. I needed me a hit of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang today, and here it is.
Oh, I'm so glad this made YOU happy. I guess I'm just that much older and, therefore, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang was totally uncool (or however we said it then). I had to take my little brother to see it. (I never admitted to anyone, however, that I couldn't get the songs out of my head for years after!) "Honest Truly... "
I'm surprised that Disney hasn't tried to remake this. The scene reminds me of how people that came out of, or were influenced by, the vaudeville era had to do so much when it came to entertaining. You had to be very good at one thing, and pretty good at everything else because you had to be able to wear many hats on stage.
