No Good Deed Goes Unpunished

I just got rid of a temporary houseguest. I knew helping him out was going to be a mistake. Let's just say he was a bottomless pit of need.

Not a day went buy when he didn't hit me up for money or play the victim in one self-created drama, after self-created drama.

Meanwhile, he had no concern whatsoever for my own challenges.

Good bye, good luck and good riddance.

You go Allan!

Except, I do want to offer a counterpoint. As someone who sometimes sleeps on a friend's couch, you really don't feel good putting your friends out. Hopefully, if they are a true friend, they will pay you back for your generosity.

Jun, he didn't even say thank you when he left with his stuff. Uggh!

As the saying goes, "Guests and fish both start to stink after 3 days."

One of those door mats would have come in handy!

Allan, you tried to help. It didn't work out. His loss. I understand. Stan and I had to kick out my brother after he tried to stay with us to stop his drinking problem. Big mistake!
